We Embrace our Supporters!

BUSINESSES

We're actively growing. Want to help us out by becoming a supporter? You can donate funds, and we also welcome gifts of your services, venues, and volunteer labor.

The following businesses and individuals have actively supported our efforts to grow Tango in South Central Texas with donations of money, services, and space. We thank you down to the soles of our dance shoes! We could not do it without you.

Two2Tango Shoes has kindly donated some of their stylish and comfortable dance shoes to the Tango cause.

Anne very generously donated seed money that enabled us to begin applying for non-profit status and to cover other start-up costs. She has also pushed around the furniture in her home to offer up a beautiful floor space for milongas and practicas, while serving up some amazing food and wine. Thank you so much, Anne!

There is a place for everyone in the San Antonio Tangueros community

Want to Get Involved?

We’re building something vibrant here one tanda, one gathering, one collaboration at a time. San Antonio Tangueros is powered by the passion and generosity of our community, and there are many ways you can be part of it.

Do you have a gift or skill you'd like to share? We’re especially excited to connect with people who have:

  • Enthusiasm for supporting events, whether that’s helping set up, working the door, or welcoming newcomers.

  • A warm presence on the dance floor and interest in serving as a tango taxi to help newer or solo dancers feel included.

  • Relationships with restaurants or venues open to hosting tango events (weekly, monthly, or even quarterly).

  • Experience in social media or marketing who want to help us grow our reach.

  • A love of tango music and interest in learning how to DJ for our milongas (we’re happy to mentor you!).

  • Project management skills to help shape future events and programs.

  • Grant writing experience.

And yes! Financial support always makes a difference. Whether it’s $10 in the fishbowl at our next practica or a larger tax-deductible gift, every contribution helps us deepen and expand our offerings.

Together, we’re cultivating a space where tango can thrive in San Antonio. Let’s build it beautifully, collaboratively, and with joy!
